Community standards
These standards describe expected behavior and content quality across readers, writers, and partner contributors on Swivver.
Last updated: March 3, 2026.
Core expectation
Swivver is designed for speed and accountability together. Content should be source-aware, transparent about uncertainty, and updated when significant facts change.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Illegal content or content that promotes violent harm.
- Harassment, targeted abuse, or threats.
- Coordinated manipulation, impersonation, or deceptive identity use.
- Fabricated evidence, materially deceptive edits, or forged sources.
- Spam or repeated misuse of reporting and platform workflows.
Source and labeling expectations
Story packages should include source links or supporting documents for key claims where available. Status labels such as Verified, Developing, and Disputed should reflect the current confidence level of a story.
AI-assisted workflows
Swivver supports AI-assisted research and checks, but AI does not replace human accountability. Origin labels and provenance requirements can apply, especially for AI-generated material when permitted.
Enforcement
Reported violations may result in actions such as labeling, distribution limits, required corrections, removals, or account restrictions depending on severity and pattern of behavior.
Reporting and updates
Users can report issues including misinformation, harmful content, IP concerns, or harassment. This standard may be updated as product policies and moderation systems mature.
