Writer terms
These terms apply to writer participation in Swivver publishing programs and related workflows.
Last updated: March 3, 2026.
Scope
These terms cover writer applications, publishing workflows, and ongoing participation in Swivver creator programs.
Swivve Object requirements
Writers are expected to publish Swivve Objects that connect short video updates with written context, attached sources, verification state, and correction-ready updates. Source links, documents, or official statements should support key factual claims.
Accuracy and updates
Writers are expected to correct material errors and keep coverage current as facts evolve. Stories may carry statuses such as Verified, Developing, or Disputed to make uncertainty explicit.
AI use and origin labels
Swivver supports human-written and AI-assisted workflows. When policy allows AI-generated content, origin labeling and stricter provenance rules can apply.
Rights and licensing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, writers retain ownership of their submitted work and grant Swivver a non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute, and moderate that content for platform operation.
Earnings and eligibility
Program payouts are based on reach and quality signals with anti-gaming safeguards. Some programs may allow eligible creators to earn up to 100% of content income. Swivver may adjust, delay, or withhold payouts when abuse, disputes, or policy violations are detected.
Enforcement and participation status
Swivver may label, limit, correct, remove, or suspend content and may restrict writer access for policy breaches or repeated quality failures.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms and publish new versions on this page. Questions can be sent to contact@swivver.ai.
